The setup for all of the newest software copies the program instructions from diskettes or CD onto your hard disk. Hard disks now come in sizes ranging from 540MB to 850MB and even 1 to 3GB (gigabytes)that's billions of bytes! The software showcased in this book occupies from 10 to 25MB of hard disk space plus another 5 to 10 MB for your data, so you should have no problem with disk size, even if your computer has an older 120MB or 240MB hard disk, as long as you are not simultaneously running too many other programs such as word processing, spreadsheet, time management, or computer games.
