The final revised edition of " National usages for entries of the names of persons" is now almost ready for publication. Committee on Union Catalogues and International Loans. Dr. H. Cordes, chairman of this Committee has worked under difficulties during the temporary absence of its secretary, M. Willemin, at Dakar for two years. The new international loan form was, however, finalized and accepted at Helsinki in August 1965, and will be published in the UNESCO Bulletin for Libraries in 1967.

The 71st session of UNESCO's Executive Board in November 1965 approved these broad outlines and asked the Secretariat to draft the Programme and Budget for 1967-1968 concerning the activities of this Department.
